Michelle Jorge applies a hands-on approach to her practice that delivers results to her clients through dedicated representation and relentless pursuit of the full amount of compensation possible. The focus of Michelle’s work is on helping clients with serious injuries. Michelle has 19 years of experience helping people who have suffered catastrophic injuries. She has represented injury victims and their families in many levels of court, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has acted as counsel at trial, and represented individuals before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Licensing Appeal Tribunal, Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal, and the ODSP Tribunal.

Michelle is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. Michelle served as Director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association for ten years and serves as a member of the Advocates’ Society, the Portuguese-Canadian Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Michelle is a former State Delegate for the American Association for Justice on behalf of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, is a former member of the Outreach Committee for the Portuguese Canadian Lawyers Association, and has chaired a number of committees for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Michelle is a former Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice.
She is the immediate past President of the Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business Professionals, and a past member of the Board of Directors for the National Case Management Network. Michelle has also served as a past chair of the New Lawyers Division for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and has co-chaired and lectured at conferences held by many organizations. She has also written for the Litigator and is a member of the Ontario Bar Association. In 2018, Michelle was awarded the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association's Distinguished Service Award. Also, Michelle is the proud recipient of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association 2020 Women’s Caucus Award.
